Two for tea

My son has been sick for the past three days. A poem.

No fever 
but a sore 
throat and cough
at night which
is when it
feels the worst
mentally
for him and
me

negative
test result
does little 
to soothe the
soul but hot
tea is the
remedy
for him and
me

    1. Thank you! My son is twelve so I’ll admit it’s definitely not as worrisome as it is (or can be) with babies, especially babies born during the pandemic. Congratulations on your young one. 🙂
